Hi I’m Jess, I am a Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing Practitioner in Lincolnshire covering Stamford, Peterborough, Holbeach and surrounding areas.
Passionate about all things pregnancy and birth, my most recent birth experience has fully reignited my desire to begin a career in birth work and use the Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing approach to provide women with the knowledge needed to bloom and birth with confidence and trust in their mind, body, partner and baby, ultimately resulting in a calm, empowering birth experience.
I wish I knew how important it was to be mentally prepared for birth when I was pregnant with my first two children. Two traumatic births later (where I completely lost control) I knew that I wanted my third labour to be different – to be calm and I needed to feel in control this time. When I began learning about hypnobirthing with Mindful Mamma during my third pregnancy I was instantly blown away by the concept – the scientific and logical nature of the course was so refreshing and alongside an understanding of the physiology of childbirth I experienced a complete shift in my attitude towards labour – I let go of my fears and met my labour with excitement and an abundance of confidence that I could achieve the calm, relaxed empowering birth I so desired.
So did it all work? Did I have the calm, incredible labour I wished for?
YES! I experienced the most amazing water birth at home. Supported by my husband and midwife and listening to Mindful Mamma MP3s, I lifted my son from the water and into my arms, all within a short three hours, and I can honestly say that I ENJOYED, (Yes. You read that correctly) every second of my labour and have never felt more strong and empowered in my whole life as I did in those magical moments.
This experience has given me the drive and determination to teach and provide other women and their partners with the tools, knowledge and belief needed to have the positive BIRTH experience that they deserve too.

What to expect…
During a Mindful Mamma workshop with me you will be welcomed into a relaxed and informative environment and a calm safe space to discover how to access a deep state of relaxation and mindfulness for birth allowing your mind and body to work as one alongside an understanding of the physiology of childbirth. Anxiety and fears will be cast away and replaced with confidence, clarity, self-belief and empowerment ready for the arrival of your little one.
The ideal time to attend hypnobirthing birth workshops is between 25 and 36 weeks of pregnancy (the earlier you complete a workshop the more time you will have) to practice techniques beneficial to the birthing experience.
I currently run both private and group workshops.
One-day Mindful Mamma group workshops are held in small groups of no more than 5 ladies and their birth partners (ie. 10 people). Booking is for two people.
Private classes are taught in my home or your own depending on the location.
