Hypnosis and Mindfulness

UNderstanding the differences
One is directive (hypnosis) and one is not (mindfulness). Hypnosis is more about the preparation, shifting into a positive state of mind, processing worries and anxieties so that a woman can go into a natural state of mindfulness and presence during birth. Hypnosis should not be used as a crutch instead, it should be a way to illuminate her own inner strength and give space for it to blossom. Hypnosis is a great thing to have in place if she needs to get back into her zone, but it’s not a necessary part of the birth. It’s all in the preparation which is way on enriching the oxytocin in her internal and external environment.
